What Makes Our ICU Different
Intensivists on site, round the clock. Critical care at Terna is led by dedicated intensivists, supported by cardiologists, pulmonologists, nephrologists and neurologists who are available for bedside consults at any hour, because deterioration does not wait for OPD timings.
Continuous monitoring. Every ICU bed has multi-parameter monitors tracking heart rhythm, blood pressure, oxygen and more, with alarms watched from a central nursing station.
Life-support equipment at every bed. Ventilators, defibrillators, infusion pumps and bedside dialysis machines are part of the unit, not borrowed from elsewhere when needed.
Strict infection control. ICU patients are vulnerable. Hand hygiene audits, isolation protocols and NABH-standard infection control keep hospital-acquired infections down.
Rapid stabilisation. Patients arriving with organ failure, sepsis, stroke or major trauma are stabilised first and investigated in parallel, not the other way round.
